Project: New WordPress Website

Client: Black Transformative Arts Network

I created a brand new WordPress website for the Black Transformative Arts Network to establish a bold, unified online presence that amplifies their mission, connects their community, and showcases their work in the arts. Prior to this project, the organization did not have a centralized digital platform to share resources, promote events, or highlight their initiatives, which limited their ability to engage supporters and expand their reach.

The new website features a modern, culturally expressive aesthetic that reflects the creativity and purpose of the Network. I developed a strong color palette, selected clean and impactful typography, and built a structured layout that guides visitors to explore programs, view artist collaborations, and access upcoming events with ease.

Key elements of the build include dynamic event listings, resource pages, artist spotlight sections, and a clear navigation system for improved accessibility. I also implemented SEO foundations, optimized content for clarity and engagement, and configured WordPress tools to support ongoing updates and scalability as the organization grows.

The result is a polished, intentional digital platform that strengthens community connection, elevates the visibility of Black artists, and provides the Network with a functional, inspiring foundation to advance its mission.
